Just like with every other subject, good information can be hard to find. A lot of information you will find about dreadlocks is bogus. Like you don't have to wash them. When I first started dreadlocks I had trouble differentiating the good information from the bad information. So I have compiled some links to dreadlocks sites. These are links to some sites that actually have factual information about dreadlocks. If you know of another dreadlocks site that you think has good information please let me know. I will look over the site and if it meets my requirements I will add the link.

Good Dreadlocks information

Dreadlocks.com has instructions for making dreadlocks with the backcombing method, the wool hat rubbing method, neglect method, dread perming method, and twisting method. They list the advantages and disadvantages of using each method. I think this is really helpful for deciding what method you want to start making dreadlocks with. This site also has a dreadlocks rumors and myths section that is wonderful. They really go into detail about why the myth is a myth and they give you the correct information. They touch on dreadlocks products a little, by explaining what products are good for each hair type.

Perfectdreadlocks.com This site has more dreadlocks information than you could go through in a day. They have you covered from instructions for making dreadlocks to dreadlocks products reviews. They have a really handy tips for dreadlocks and dreadlocks FAQ that goes over what you should expect from dreadlocks with different hair types. They also have the history of dreadlocks and lots of dreadlocks pictures.

HowtoDread.com is a great dread reference site. It has instructions for making dreadlocks and a great links section for other dreadlocks sites. There is a washing section on this site that gives you information about washing dreadlocks and how often to do it.

Dread-Locks.com is a really neat site. They have basic instructions for making dreadlocks and they also have a section where people can send in their dreadlocks pictures and talk about their experience with dreadlocks. They also have a users dreadlocks products reviews section where you can submit your review about a dreadlocks product you have used.

Dreadlocks.us has a lot of unusual dreadlocks pictures. The girl who created this site also wrote instructions for making dreadlocks and a dreadlocks faq of what she think is helpful for people to know before they start making dreadlocks.

MundoDreads.com this site is great for all the native spanish speakers. It has instructions for making dreadlocks in español.
